Screaming Repulsive Symphonies of Void

My Morning Jacket is a band that I got turned on to a few years ago when I went to see I’m Not There; a film loosely based on truth and rumors revolving around singer/songwriter, Bob Dylan.

The lead singer of the band, Jim James, was in the film. He performed “Goin’ to Acapulco” with the help of the band, Calexico. Ever since then I haven’t been able to get enough of them.

This happens to be one of my favorite songs that the band does; it’s called “Highly Suspicious” off of their album entitled “Evil Urges.”

“All of the Young Dudes” was originally recorded and released by Mott the Hoople. This version is one of many; it’s done by World Party, and it’s only found on the Clueless soundtrack.
